Who Are Japanese Breakfast?

Originally a solo project, Japanese Breakfast was founded in Philadelphia in 2013, starting off as an outlet for Michelle Zauner's grief around the illness and death of her mother. Zauner has previously said that the name originates from seeing a GIF of Japanese Breakfast, you could almost say it gives you a taste of the band and their music!
